Full Sail University Partners with Event Safety Alliance to Provide Event Safety Access Training for Students

TBD, 2017 (Orlando, FL) – Full Sail University is excited to announce an opportunity for our students involved in degree programs relevant to the live production industry. Students will receive Event Safety Alliance’s (ESA) online Event Safety Access Training (ESAT) and ESA membership for one year as part of their curriculum at no cost.

ESA's entry-level safety awareness training program, ESAT, was created specifically for those working in any live production environment. Students who receive the ESAT Program will improve the entertainment industries commitment to safe work practices during all events. This training helps advance student careers by preparing them for a variety of possible safety issues in the workplace.

An innovative way to learn.  ESAT was developed by subject matter experts and administered online by DC3 Education using a unique blend of storytelling, high-quality production, and engaging content to deliver superior student outcomes.

Education Director for Audio Arts at Full Sail University, Dana Roun;

I have been fortunate enough to know several of ESA's key leaders, and from personal experience, I can say ESA knows the business of event production and safety like few others do. Anyone producing live events at any level has a responsibility to the audience, talent, and crew to maintain the highest safety practices. I’m excited to know that our Show Production Bachelor’s Degree graduates will receive ESAT before they embark on their new careers. This training is so important to set a standard of safety practices before these new event specialists launch their careers. I believe this training is a key to changing the industry in a very positive way.”
